It works fine but it stinks of chemicals, i don't think it's really worth spending almost as much money as a set of buds including cable, on just a cable, especially if the material quality is this questionable.

The difference in sound intensity is obvious, really nice power for the KZ ZS-10 pro, really loud, but at those higher levels, the sound really gets distorted, but that is not a problem of the cable as it is for the actual earpiece.
There is one problem with the cable I have found to be quite irritating. If the cable is plugged in the device, but no sound is played, the cable tends to work as an antenna and I can quite loudly hear those interferences from phones antennas, that you could hear in those older unshielded sound systems. More so in a low service zone, but depends on how many people are around. This is a huge thing, as I have actually used way cheaper type C earpieces, like those Samsung AKG type C cabled earpices, which also sound really powerful, while not as good, they don't have this problem.
But otherwise, the microphone is really nice, the pause and skip button is nice, they lack the volume buttons, and for the price, I'd hoped they would have some, but whatever, and I have recently been having issues with my cable disconnecting from one of my earpieces when taking them out of my pockets, so maybe, making a design that slightly clicks into place when plugging the connector to the earpieces would be nice, as a safety design, as in not losing an earpiece that might come off the cable, as it has happened to me a couple of times already.
So yeah, that's 4 stars for me. More like 4.5, but there is no intermediate option
I am glad I bought it, as the jack cable was lacking the loudness and quality ( also because I have a low-range phone, with mediocre DAC ) of this type-C, DAC included cable. I will try this out with something of a higher quality, sometime in the future, when I will afford one of the higher quality earpieces, but until then, that's all. Great product, but still could use some retouches here and there.
